The brand had just renewed its shop design and this Umeda shop was the introduction for this new design in the region. Therefore, the postulate for the design was visibility from distance and memorability after one’s first visit. For example, the material covering the facade was glass mosaic tile chips, which were clear and three-dimensional, arranged to show the letter of “N” as the initial of the brand. For the interior, putting white as the base color, the CI color of fresh orange were set for chairs.
Keeping the eyesight of guests out of monotony,as they needed to stay in same place for long time for the nail treatment, various sizes of frames were arranged and, inside of it, nail related products and seasonal items were put as decoration. These seems subtle but important deliberation to make guests feel comfortable during their precious treatment. Also, the European palace like graphic was printed onto the wallpaper to express the fashionable lifestyle. And, the successive pendant light made by crystal glass peaces with mirror added the depth for the limited space.
